That certainly sounds scary!!

I really hope you've seen the worst and are on the way to a complete recovery now.

I would also be interested in hearing more about how this was related to your surgery. Was it the type of surgery that caused it or surgery in general?

WOW! Hope your healing speeds up and you recover fully!

Like others here, I would love to hear the details of what happened to you. It is important the not so pretty expereinces get posted here too, as many readers are pre op and trying to decide. It ain't all sunshine and roses and it sound like your story has tons of thorns! Thorns protect the plant, we need the thorns! Please post more?

Referral- March 2012, Letter April 19, Orientation TWH- June 6, NP - July 3, Sleep Apena test July 16, Internist and SW - July 17, Nutritional class - July 23, Dietician appt. July 30th, Psych-Social appt - Aug 20th. Follow up with doctor sleep apena Aug. 28th Surgeons appt. - Dec. 14th Dr. Jackson. Surgery date - Feb 12 2013 - VSG

There are a lot of nurses on this site, so any medical details including diagnosis, tests run, would be great.

I can't see the surgery connection with your brain. Did you throw a clot?
