KCC CHallenge - Day 4!!

Good morning!

Well, we've made it this far - let's keep going!  Day 4 today - "solid protein" which basically consists of ground meats and shellfish.  Woot! My favourites, other than egg bites.  I hope everyone is doing well!

Eats for today:

B - coffee with milk x 2, egg bite before I left home lol
S - muffin tin meatloaf
L - muffin tin meatloaf, 2 shrimp with ****tail sauce
S - shrimp with ****tail sauce
D - meatloaf!

Hmmm - not sure I'm aceing this KCC challenge. I should have planned for it.

 B - protein shake, large coffee
 S - cottage cheese & strawberries
 L - out with friends, likely a hearty soup
 S - protein bar, 2nd coffee
 D - salad w grilled salmon.

Weight is stable, no change yet this week.

My protein shake tasted horrible - I tossed it (it was a Joe Weider Strawberry Shake) and had cereal instead.
I'm going to give up on the challnge this time.

awww, gabs... just try to concentrate on getting more protein. I'm not doing the greatest, but its helpful to me just to have a protein frame of mind again.

I'm a day behind.. i slipped again last night.. oh wine., soda crackers and cheese. sigh. 
 yeah... anyway. onward. only one glass

B - egg and cheese
S - protein shake
L - soup, black bean mmmmm
S - yogurt
D - canned chicken, and a bit more soup

mmmm gotta try the muffin tin meat loaf. Is it just the regular type meatloaf made in muffin tins?

Yep!  I make my regular meatloaf mixture and instead of putting it in a loaf pan, I stuff it into muffin tins.  I'm pretty sure my (awesome) recipe is on the recipe forum.

Hey everyone!

We do what we can do, we fall and we get back up.

Me meals today:

B - 2 poached eggs w/ tbsp salsa
S - cheesestring & later a  yogurt
L - either soup or chili (in a can)
S - if needed cream of tomato soup
D - home made chili (put it in the slow cooker this morning)

Due to my schedule yesterday, didn't get enough water in.  Working on that today.

I've been doing the challenge since Monday- good news- no one is DEAD!  Mostly water, 2 protien bars a day, an orange and I might try a few mouthfulls of chili tonight.  I really do need to continue doing this for a little while. Maybe 10 days- now that I have the hang of it, its not THAT bad..lol.
