I'm sure they went through the files to see who would be the best person to move up and with you not having as much weight to lose as some, they picked you!  You will do great...... good luck :-)

I know how you feel, I got a call and they gave me a date earlier too. I am sure they would not if the doctor did not feel it was safe..

Oh my goodness - I'd freak too...but good for you, things happen for a reason!  Good luck to both you and Crystal.....only 6 days to go!!!!  

Such a wonderful gift.....get it over with and get on with the dance is my theory.  Less days on Opti, less days to stress, more of everything positive.  Best wishes to a healthy you asap

wonderful - congrats to you. If Dr. H thinks you are ok - you are ok. :) Take a good book to your pre-op - it can take some time / busy place.

Woohoo!! Congrats!! Your day will be here before you know it and you'll wonder what you were freaking out about!! I am envious on the opti...21 days seemed to be an eternity for me when it came to that part of the journey!! You are going to do great!!

That is so exciting, but nerve-wracking at the same time!  I think the Opti time will be fine - like others said, they probably looked at who could best manage with the short time on Opti (less weight to lose, therefore likely a less fatty liver).   Congrats and enjoy the (shortened) ride to the bench!
