Missing an Optifast shake?
We had a late night Saturday, so I slept in past my first shake time (6am, 10am, 2pm and 6pm)
That was fine had my 10 am shake, did some running around with the kids cleaning and had a nappy! lol Not usual for me but like I said we had a late night. So I also missed my 2pm shake as well.
Had the 6pm shake and that was the day.
Today the scale didn't move it is actually heavier. I did not cheat just 2 shakes and lots of water and crystal light.
Today I am completely exhausted despite being back on schedule?
Was the a big no no to miss those should I have tried to fit them in?? Or is it just Day 6 blues, lol
You're probably a bit tired due to the reduction in calories - if 4 shakes are 900 calories, you only had about 450 calories yesterday. So it makes sense that you'd be a bit sluggish. You also may not have gotten as much water in you as you usually do.
It's best to try to fit them all in, but if you're sleeping a lot it can be hard. I'm sure you'll start to feel better today as you get more shakes in and more water, too.

You're not feeding the engine enough to keep moving imo. It was not uncommon for me to miss one shake a day but if I did and was dragging my butt the next day I knew why. Weight comes off even post op in fits and spurts, then stalls, then... just the way it is. Relax and enjoy the ride! ![]()

He is very competent, his residents are very nice and proactive, it was all good! I know some post here how funny/warm their surgeon is, I can't say he's funny, he wasn't warm but was efficient and from my results thus far I like him.
Are you taking a wifi device with you? St Mike's has a wobbly wifi for patients but not on my phone nor laptop did it show up when I searched for available wifi. I would share its name and password if I could remember but can't right now.
I have only 2.5 days left of Opti and there have been a few days that I've only managed to get 3 in. I've lost about 15lbs since starting opti. At first, it flew off, then week 2 I pretty much stayed the same, up and down a half pound, and now I've started losing slowly again.
At first I was disappointed but remembered the point of opti is not to lose weight...and other than 2 celery sticks, I did not cheat...and those celery sticks were NOT worth it...I ate them because my girls' school was having a 'harvest tea' and my daughters served me. Hubby ate but I felt really dumb not having anything so I figured 2 celery sticks were mostly water anyways...boy oh boy, my stomach was so unhappy after that and it just made me crave food so bad...I was miserable..
I know that wasn't your question but hang in there, try to get your 4 in but sometimes if you just can't, I don't think it's the end of the world. And don't cheat! even on celery, it's not worth it! lol ;)
