Our iconic strip club burnt to the ground this week. One of it's former names was the Quinte Hotel and was the inspiration for a Al Purdy poem. There is a u-tube video of it being recited staring Gord from the Tragically Hip.

Hey, I'm another one who was born and raised in Trenton! I haven't lived there since I left for university in 1992 but my parents and family are all still there. I'm most likely moving back there next year.  The thought of being mortgage free by 40 is pretty enticing and the house prices there are incredibly low compared to here.

Oh my gosh... thank you Trenton people! I have SO much to tell her!  I haven't seen her in (OMG) years, seriously. She would never recognize my photo (kinda look a little different) so I'm trying to reach out. I thought... OMG, she might already be here and I just don't realize??
