Evolution of a weight loss goal? Did yours change as you got closer to the end?
I have a number in my head of what I want to achieve. I originally wanted to be 145 which would put my BMI as normal. Reading this site and talking about bounce back made me decide to go lower to 125.
A few weeks ago I was so worried that I had stopped losing that I thought 175 would be my new goal weight.
Strangely enough no one at the Ottawa clinic has told me what my goal weight should be so I'm going to ask next week when I go.
Now.. in regards to this discussion of excess skin. I know that skin weighs something and that we all have more skin then people who haven't been overweight.. BUT.. I hate hearing that as an excuse for not being at a certain weight. You gals have explained it well but just same I accept the fact that my body might like me at a certain weight as opposed to this line that 'because of the skin you can't get below a certain number."
Anyways just my opinion.
