What a fabulous week, everybody. I can't believe how how many people have really committed to this challenge. I appreciate you all more than you can even imagine. Now, where are we??

Still in the lead (and increasing it daily, it seems) is The A-Team. We have gone a total of 2208 km which means we have passed the Alberta border! In fact, we have gone past Calgary and are halfway on our way to Red Deer. If we keep up this pace we will have no problem reaching our goal of making it all the way across Canada by September 30, 2013.

In celebration of reaching a new province please take a listen to one of Alberta's iconic singer/songwriters:

Still in second place is Your Pace or Mine. You guys have gone a total of 1773 km and are just about to enter one of the most visually stunning places in Canada: Banff National Park. See what I mean?

Finally, still in third place but now less than 150 km behind Team B is Team CUL8R. They've gone 1647 km and are on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. I'm certain both Team B and Team C will be crossing the Alberta border next week, too.

Have a wonderful week, everyone. Remember, next week is the random draw for this month's prize. I'll be making a separate post to tease you all just a little. Have a wonderfully productive week!!

OK Everybody on 'My Pace or Yours' into Lake Louise!  It will refresh you in exactly the same way that swimming in an ice cube would (I have done Lake Louise, can imagine the ice cube)!

Thanks for posting. I hope I can keep up the pace now that it is getting colder. I am biking home today but I hear next week is suppose to be colder. I think it is time to move it indoors.
