See you at lunch tomorrow!
I am indeed a goofball at times! One can't always be staid, and proper! *eyebrow wiggle* Something tells me that wearing my pearls, and Sunday best isn't really suited. *grin* And besides... I can never resist a shower comment. LOL! Not sure why.
I only get to "meet" you once... Though I may convince you to do coffee, or go out many more times in the future. One never knows!
Hmmm... living it up... Well I have been looking at the menu so:
Caprese is always a good one for me. The mozzarella sticks, and the French Onion soup look interesting. I love Artichoke & Spinach Dip (and they serve it with Pita so they could switch it all out for pita re allergy to corn). The Seafood Quesadilla looks interesting, as does the Mediterranean Steak entree salad, the Chili sounds awesome and the Jambalaya Rice Bowl sounds yummy (though would require zantac I think - always a safe idea when I am far from home).
The Grilled Cheeseburger sounds heavenly but my last restaurant cheese burger had me picking the cheese off the bun, eating the meat with a fork and looking like a tool. Considering the MASSIVE carb crash I had last night after Atlantic Lobster Stuffed Ravioli... I am a tad nervous about carbs again (face was hot, I ended up in bed within an hour, etc.)
So... I am "thinking" on it still. I am always like this in a "new" place. If it is a "familiar" place they can pretty much just ask me id I am having the "usual" and place my order (specifically at my home away from home of 10 years).
Help? Have any of those?
The French onion soup is fabulous - I have it all the time. The Caprese salad, chili, seafood quesadilla, mozz sticks, and the cheeseburger are all delicious. Can you tell I eat there regularly? LOL My favourite thing on the menu right now, other than the wings, which are to die for, is the pear & brie flatbread. Sooooo lovely.
The staff are very accommodating. If you want something without the bun or whatever, they'll do it, no problem. With respect to your corn allergy - let them know.
