CRAZY Trans-Canada Challenge; November summary and monthly Challenge WINNER!!

Hello everyone!

So, another month has passed by and we are really hoofin' 'er across Canada. I'm thrilled to announce that all three teams have passed into Alberta and are on our way to Saskatchewan. Looks like we'll all be hitting Manitoba in the dead of winter. Oy vey! So, without further ado, here are the stats for this month:

Still in the lead is The A-Team. We've gone a total of 2546 KM and are halfway between Red Deer and Edmonton.

In second is Your Pace or Mine. They've traveled 2018 KM and have just reached Calgary.

Pulling up the rear is Team CU L8R. They've gone a total of 1975 KM and have just passed the Alberta border and are on their way to Calgary. Looks to me that they will be overtaking Team B within the next couple of weeks so watch your back, Ian!

Now, notable mentions this month:

Congrats to HighlandBear for completing her first Marathon!

A special congrats to KellyBelly for managing an astounding 438 KM this month - which works out to an average of 110 km/week!!

Congrats, as well, to GimpyMom and LindyLouise 58. Both of these ladies increased their mileage each and every week.

Finally, the following six people managed to beat last months' average each week so their names were entered into the draw four times... and one of them was the winner!! (Gonna tease you just a little bit longer.) They are:

Sadly, we've lost one member this month. Well, kinda. I think she may still be around and just not updating so hunt her down, Team C. Shout out to 2mar. Where are ya? We need you back!

Happily, we've added FIVE new participants to the challenge. Team CU L8R has two new members: Jenn R and Lola Bug. Team Your Pace or Mine has three new members: Rymebe 73, Sue B. and Vi-Vi. Please welcome all the new members to the challenge and make them feel like a part of your teams.

Yay, NanaLiz!

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
