Coffee question

Hi there,

I can't seem to remember what they said about drinking caffeinated coffee...Are we allowed post surgery?  I'm almost 6 months out and can't remember if we can drink it or not?!  I can't find the literature they gave me so I'd love some feedback!

yes you can, but like everything else, in moderation. some people say caffeine increases their carb cravings..

Thanks for the reply!  I'm glad to hear that it's ok...I'm not a big coffee drinker, but with the cold weather I like to occasionally have a flavored coffee as a pick-me-up.  I know that I'll have to watch the sugar content of the flavored kind, but really wasn't sure about the caffeine part of things!

starbucks makes all or most of their specialty coffees in a "skinny" version, with low fat or non fat milk, and sf flavouring.

Really? I have never heard that one before!! I find coffee curbs all my cravings (unless it's pms time....there's nothing stopping that)

I hear ya on the PMS front...LOL!

PMS is like a huge empty chocolate truck demanding to be filled!
