Can you take your vitamins while on Optifast or are they "built in"?

At my pre-op appointment, the pharmacist advised when to stop taking my multi-vitamin.  It wasn't right at the start of Opti, but probably around 1.5 weeks before my surgery date.

My pre-op appointment is 2 days AFTER I start Optifast. I'm sure it won't hurt either way for 2 days. I just want to make sure my body is as healthy and full of nurtrients as it can be for the healing process and for the time I won't be eating much. OMG its all getting so close! My knees are starting to knock!
