I am seeking a revision to a 2001 surgery and meeting with the Dr. on Wednesday.  For the last month or two, I've been getting heartburn/acid reflux fairly often.  I've never had an issue with it before.  Is this something I should mention to the Dr?  will it better/lessen my chances of having the surgery done?  Concerned that it could be an issue.

I don't know if it would better or lessen your chances of a revision, but I think you should tell him/her in any event.  It could possibly be a hernia which could be fixed during a revision if you get one.

I would surely mention it. You may just need a prescription for prevacid.
