Vent - stupid thing my husband said
A few months ago, my husband and I decided we would do a 5k race together in the sping and start training for it when the weather was nicer. Last night I brought it up again because we need to pick a race and have a date to start training and he said flat out to me "Well, I can do it but I don't think you can." (those were his exact words!)
I am LIVID he would say that to me. I work out 5 times a week - HARD! I do at least 1 full hour cardio a week and the rest is typically interval training. I weight train too. He on the other hand NEVER works out. I am in pretty good shape and have an 8 week plan to train for the 5k. I'm 35 lbs to goal. If anyone can do the race, it's me!
Just venting I guess. I am really mad at him!
Did you tell him to kiss your ass? And then point him toward the couch as a good place to camp out until he quits being a Donkey?
Sorry he said that... Use that rage to totally beat his ass in that race.... LOL...revenge is often dirty business but I would not let him beat me and then I would gloat big time for weeks and bring it up every holiday!

That's total BS - you can do it, no problem! I started the Couch to 5K training recently, and all I did prior was brisk walking and stationary bike riding for 45 mins each day. I also am much further away from goal than you. You can totally do this!
Do you have a nearby indoor track that you could hit to start training? We have one here in Milton and it's great! I will start running outdoors when it gets nicer, but in the meantime it's great to have an indoor alternative.

I don't know of an indoor track I could run at but I'm sure there are some here. My plan for now is to keep working out at home and head outside when the weather is better. I'm going to follow the Couch to 5k training plan too.
Sounds like a plan to me! You don't need your husband - you can rock this on your own!!
