Pre surgery class
Hey Sylvie, well my class is March 6th, after your file has been approved and you have been cleared to have surgery you have the class about a month or 2 before your surgery. Its an education class to teach you what to eat after surgery, vitamins you will need etc. Its kinda of a last step thing before surgery. Not sure how they book them at your center but they would not book mine until I was cleared. Hope that helps.

I went to 2 seminars at TWH. The first was in introductory seminar and the second was called the nutrition seminar and wasn't the last thing I had to go to to get approved.
After the 1st seminar, I saw the social worker, and then I saw the nurse-practitioner & had the nutritional seminar on the same day. After that, I saw the psychologist, and NUT on the same day, and finally the surgeon.
Since they are calling it a pre-surgery class, you might not be at TWH.
I think that they will probably book your seminar when you see the RN, SW, and NUT in 3 weeks.
