Greek Yogurt by Silhouette

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet because I have not been reading the boards very much lately, but Silhouette has a Greek yogurt now.  To my knowledge, it is the only sugar-free, flavoured Greek yogurt out there.  I have tried every flavour and they are quite good.  They have Vanilla Twist, Strawberry Kiss, Refreshing Apple (my personal fave), Tropical Delight and Berry-licious. They run the same number of protein  as Liberte, though admittedly, they're not as creamy and decadent-feeling as the Liberte IMO.

50 calories, 0 fat, 6 carb, 2 fibre, 3 sugar, 8 protein.

Yummy!

Hello Marny

I have tried Silhouette Greek Yogurt and they are not sugar free. If you like them try the Source they have a new Greek yogurt as well that is 50 calories and 2x the protein.

Just checked the ingredient list and it does not list sugar.  The only reason they have 3g listed on the nut. info is because milk itself does have sugar.  Same as if you drink a glass of milk.

What is the nut. info for the Source yogurts?  I looked at their website, but they didn't list the Greek yogurt as a product.  So you are saying that they have the equiv. of 16 grams of protein/100 grams?  I've not seen that.

Marny, the 2x the protein is compared to regular Source.  It's 8g of protein per 100g cup.  I've tried the Source one and really like it.  It's likely similar in values to Silouette's greek yogurt.

I am sure they are pretty similar.  I've never seen more than 8 grams of protein in a single serve cup.  I like all of the different flavours that the Silhouette has.  If I remember correctly, I think I did buy the Source ones a while back, and they only had a berry flavour, and a vanilla.  At least that's all that was available at my grocery store).

I tried them this week (got the blueberry and vanilla) and enjoy them!  My usual breakfast uses 0% plain Liberte mixed with berries, so I won't be changing that.  These single serve cups are a nice snack later in the day, though!

Marny the source ones are equivalent to the silhouette ones but I find they taste so much better and actually have small fruit pieces in them.

Source comes in blueberry, peach, cherry, strawberry, vanilla, citrus plus other flavours as well.

Just an FYI - The coupon board at the front on my local RCSS had $1.50 coupons for the Silhouette

I love the lemon flavour of the Source greek. Tastes like lemon meringue. Yum!
