I'm now 2 1/2 years out of gastric bypass, last fall I had much stomach pain and went for a scope (Dr. Sohi) HRRH and they found ulsers.  I've never stopped taking previcid, and still suffer here and there.  I'm 130lbs down and currently weigh 140lbs and I find eating gets harder by dinner time.  I start the day eating my meals without suffering then by dinner time I can only get a few bites before the troubles begin.

Sometimes I need to lay down after dinner to settle my stomach from my very small dinner :(

anyone have simular issues?

Did he add in another med to treat the ulcers?  Many have had to take a combination of meds to get the ulcer to heal.

PICK ME PICK ME. Same here 9 months out, I find the sulcrate better then prevacid. Sulcrate is a anti-ulcer medication by class. I find much releif with it; my surgeon cautions me that it can also hinder absorption of magnesium and oither nutriets double wammy hence the surgery we are already malabsorbing.

I eat the same things over and over I know my diet wont vary much ever. I pretty much live on cheese and greek yougurt. Almost all fruit irritates things further. She beleives I also have gastritis, I take my porevacid twice a day
