Ok so yesterday I was freaking out, I need a support group! I have been on this journey for 14 months. So I called the clinic at St. Joes, Hamilton, I was asking about the hospital group. I was put on hold and another lady answered and started talking to me about surgery, I thought she had the wrong person! No she said your surgery is booked for June 27, I was so taken back that I started to cry. She said that's okay catch your breathe, she told me to start my Optifast tomorrow which is my birthday so I think I will wait until Friday. Happy Birthday too me.

Sorry if this is scrambled I'm still in disbelief, I knew it was coming but Wow!

Congrats on your surgery date!! Don't freak out that's exciting news!!

I was so worried about optifast (i gagged on it when I sampled it during the NUT class LOL) but I actually really liked it - I used the chocolate or 1/2 choc 1/2 vanilla and put in a couple ice cubes gave it a good mix in the bullet and it was quite yummy!!

Starting process for OHIP funded panniculectomy...
