Any emotional eaters out there?
I don't know if you are aware of this, but there is an Overeater's Anonymous (OA), and The Recovery Network has on line OA Meetings every three hours around the clock as well.
It's specific to overeaters vs. alcohol you may find it a good fit.
Also there is a The Cognitive Behavioural Work Book for weight management Available through Chapters. These are the ISBN numbers if you are looking for it.

There are many, many different books on emotional eating. I am currently reading "Shades of Hope" which outlines a program for those addicted to food. The book is based on what is used at their 42 day treatment program. Other books on my bedside table include "A Course in Weight Loss - 21 Spiritual Lessons for Surrendering your Weight Forever" and "Eating Mindfully - How to end mindless eating and enjoy a balanced relationship with food".
The Hamilton Center's psychologist and psychiatrist wrote a workbook that they recommend. You can get it through Chapters online. It is called "The Cognitive Behavioural Workbook for Weight Management. All of these and many others available at your public library. Head to the self help section of Chapters and find some books you like and if you cannot afford them, see if your library has them.
Ultimately, if you have not dealt with your issues with a therapist you may have to do this. I have done this but still struggle and am looking again for a new therapist to get hold of my demons.
Best wishes and know that what you are going through is absolutely normal for many of us and is part of the journey.
