Pain Managment after surgery?
What do you do for migraines? I take a prescription medication for them..
and not sure if I will be able to after surgery.
For migraines, I also have prescription for Exert...but honestly, have tried it a few times at migraine on-set, and doesn't seem to work anymore. Might be an absorption issue. May need to try something else. Good news is that I do seem to get fewer migraines...but till get them when there are major changes in atmospheric pressure. Again! Have been using Tylenol to put a dent in the migraines. Not perfect, but not too bad!
Yeah. Tylenol doesn't nothing for my migraines.
A part of me is scared to death that I will have this surgery and it will help me be thin, but I will screw myself over for pain Managment in the future. I don't want to use narcotics, I'm a social worker, do you know the amount of nurses, paramedics, professional I work with at lost everything because the get addicted to perks and oxy. I feel very confused and conflicted
I was worried as well, but has proven to be a non- issue. I just feel so much better that pain meds are no longer a major preoccupation for me. That being said, your situation may be different. Prior to surgery I also thought Tylenol wouldn't touch my migraine, but now they do at least take the edge off and I can work through the rest. It is something you'll have to think about...
