HRRH Pratts?
Can someone from HRRH explain to me what PRATTS is?
How does it get booked?
My work is getting cranky about my days off for appointments. Normally they are ok, just we are doing major changes at work and its messing with alot of stuff.
I know I have RN/RD and Social worker on July 31, also have Dr Glazer on Sept 2
then what?
Another day to see Dr Hagan again? Then another day for Pratts?
Doh.. work will be really cranky when I give them the note telling them Im off for 6-8 weeks..
(( Oh well, cant take it on ))
Thanks for any guidance.

I'm going to assume you mean PATTS, which is pre assessment testing, you see the anaesthologist at that time as well as having bloodwork, ecg, stuff like that. It gets booked through the the surgeon's office, usually within a few weeks of your surgery.
also, don't be afraid to rearrange your appts to have multiples appts in one day.

Oh awesome..
I really am gonna hope I can have the same. Save the days off for recovery time.
is everything done there Krista? Or next door at the hospital?
I had my PATT on June 27th. I had blood work, saw the RN and anesthesiologist. Took 5 1/2 hours...mostly waiting.
You will probably see the doc at his Lawrence Ave office. PATTS is on the main floor of the hospital. Everyone having surgery at Humber goes through it. It's a long tiring day, for sure, but the staff were fairly friendly.
Oh - you will also need to see your GP prior to PATTs to have them fill out forms on your medical history. It needs to br completed to earlier than 30 days before your surgery.
Thank you so much!
My doctor already filled in paper work about my medical history for the orginal questionnaire. They want him to do it again? Ohhhh okay.
Do you know the address of his lawerance office? Or main intersection. Maybe I can swing half day off for that one.
You been a great help, good to have idea what the rest of the process is gonna look like
