Opti - how you rocked it?

So today is my first day on Opti - I got all chocolate and for 2 weeks. The trick is definitely ICE, but I don't find it bad at all. I made a delicious broth and some sugarfree jello - yum, dessert lol.

Just remember why you are doing it and knowing that it is shrinking your liver and get yourself excited for a new life!!!

Opti is a means to an end - to a beginning.

I had quite a few syrups that I used but in the end, I used extracts more. Chocolate with mint extract was great, vanilla with decaf coffee and wait for it...vanilla with rum extract and either banana or coconut extract. I used a blender or magic bullet. Ay work, I only had cold water which was fine. I actually liked the Opti.

A LID!! Awesome! I tried a chocolate one my friend had.. The taste was ok, the smell killed me. Thanks! I WILL use that tip.

hello?!?? Rum extract, that is sounding yummy in my tummy!

oh I have my eyes in the prize.. No seat belt extensions, being about to join a rowing team again, being about to sit ANYWHERE ...

4 weeks of OPTI, won't be a piece of cake. But then again it's the pieces of cake that got me here and a little bit of struggle is good for the soul ;)

It's not been so bad for me. I'm on day 10 and it's gotten fairly easy. With the vanilla i add raspberry ice crystal light and it's very similar to a smoothie, loads of ice and by now i just add a straw and drink, no issues. For the chocolate i add a table spoon of instant coffee, a liberal amount of caramel sugar free syrup from starbucks and blend, add loads of ice and that's like a mocha latte thinger, really tasty! I love it!

Hey hun! Can you believe how fast time is flying now? Soon we'll be just chillin' on the bench! And then taking a stroll through Onderland! Lol. As you knw, I'm not there yet either, but I do use protien shakes a number of times per week. I know they probably taste different to opti but I plan on using my present flavorings just for fun. I use vanilla protien pwdr, decaf coffee with, vanilla extrac****er and ice, for a yummy frappachino-like shake. I use chocolate protien pwdr with cocoa pwder, vanilla extrct, a splenda pk****er and ice and blend! Yum! I'd like to try mango, orange Nesfruita with vanilla opti, just for fun. I'm liking the straw-cup idea too!!!
I just know were gonna ROCK this one lady!

I'm just about done my 3 weeks of Optifast (surgery is this friday!!!) - and at first I tried everything to make it better. I also couldn't do CL or any syrups because I found them way too sweet for my taste. I would prefer if i got all chocolate instead of half of each kind. At first I did the decaf with some cocoa powder (great!), but since i'm not a coffee drinker I had to stop that after a week and a bit. Now I just use cocoa powder, some water and pour it over ice. I found that the 'smoothie' way with crushing the ice in the blender made it more that I had to drink. This way it's still cold and I can just drink it with a straw really quick. I'm down almost 20lbs now.

Overall you'll just have to see what you like. I was surprised at how much I didn't like the crystal light when I can normally drink it in water.

Good luck!
