Question for TWH'rs

I have my social worker appt on August 19th - are my next appointments booked that day? Or do they call me after my appointment? Just curious

When I've been, they've always handed me an updated sheet with any new appointments on it.  If there's nothing new, feel free to ask while you're there.  The reception staff on the 4th are fantastic people, really friendly and helpful.

All depends on how busy they are. Personally I would not leave without them. They do have a tendency to forget

I've always had my next appointment before leaving. The folks at reception can book your appointments and shift the times/dates around if earlier/later dates are available.

Just talk to Andrew at the desk when you are there!  He is FABULOUS and will book all your next appointments for you without a question!  Andrew is my favourite!

Thanks guys! I've only dealt with Andrew once so far, when I got my hospital card set up, but he seemed very nice! I'll make sure to get my updated appointment list from him when I'm there on the 19th :)

I agree, Andrew is awesome!! 

I also received appointments on a sheet - the first was at the orientation which had the first 3 appointments - the when I 'passed' I received the last lot.

I would call - three weeks can really get you bumped back in time.  Depending on your availability or where you live, I would even make the trip there to see....I remember it too well, the sense of urgency to get to the finish line

 

So you think I should be calling now to see if I can get my appointment on the 19th bumped up? I called beginning of July to ask and the lady was pretty adamant that the social worker was (at that time) booking in to Aug 29th so there was nothing sooner. I figured it was better than the dates I'd gotten at orientation which weren't until October! They actually phoned me to see if I wanted to take the opening on the 19th. I live about an hour's drive from the city, so going there might not work. And I am pretty much totally free save for next Thurs/Fri... Hmm.. maybe I will call just on the off chance they've got something sooner. I'm always paranoid about annoying them so I try not to call like a crazy person - but I know it works, lol ;) 

Wow - they're booking in to November now for social workers! And no cancelation openings. But at least I tried :)

Sorry, to be clear I meant to call and ask for your next 'round' of appointments so that maybe you can eliminate a bit of time.
