Possibly the strangest NSV...

Well, it finally happened. I got on the bus this morning, sat in the two seater at the front... And someone sat next to me... Voluntarily! That hasn't happened to me in a LONG time. This surgery is the best thing that has happened to me, outside of my kids. If you're reading this, and having second thoughts... Don't. Really. And I'm saying that after finding that I can't handle orange juice (unsweetened, not from concentrate), without having the worst cramps I've ever had for half an hour. And that was a few sips. So do it. It's worth it!

Awesome! I know how horrible the looks are when you sit there and take up most or part of second seat.

You have actually made me cry for you, such a great NSV and empowering experience. I can't wait for it!

that is amazing!!! I love NSVs like this one, so unexpected!!! A while ago, a bunch of us were going somewhere in my hubby's truck, and i got told to sit in the middle, because I was the skinny one.

That is awesome. Although sometimes having  seat to yourself can be a blessing. Had a id about 12 this morning that could not sit still!

That's very exciting. I soooo look forward to sitting comfortably on airplanes, and not stressing about who will be beside me ( secretly hoping for a child or very small adult!) I will cross my legs on the plane, just because I will be able to, although I must say, I still don't get how people can!!

Congrats

I take the bus every day twice a day so I know what you mean about being the last person people choose to sit with or squashing people accidentally when you sit, etc.  But then again, I do the same thing - I look for the smallest person possible so that I will have more room and be comfortable. I try not to take it personally but it does get tiresome, that is for sure.  Congratulations on your weight loss!
