One thing I can't wait for.
To fit properly in my car. I drive a teeny little two door Sunfire and I've had to use a seatbelt extender all of this year, but just recently I have noticed that I am sitting way higher than I used to. Unless I really slouch down my head is seriously close to the roof, I have to duck my head at corners to look underneath the rear view mirror since it's directly in front of my face. And it finally dawned on me - my butt is too high! It's too big! I mean, I knew it was too big before but now instead of only growing in width apparently it has been growing outward too. So I cannot wait until I lose my giant butt and can fit in to my tiny car!
Girl I can't wait for me to fit normal in a car myself.
I haven't let myself go for my license cause I'm too embarrassed about squishing into a learner car, seat belt extender and the in classes are this tiny highschool fllip desk. Where once thigh could seat.
oh the freedom will come !! So get ya doll
Oh man, I could never go back to driver's ed at this point. I hear you on that. But when you are done with surgery and down a few lbs and go for your license, you will wonder how you ever lived without it :) I have to do my G test by May before my G2 expires and I feel so self concious to go, but hopefully by the time Feb/March comes around I will no longer need that stupid seatbelt extender and my head won't hit the roof on every bump ;)

Singing....Your day will come....
Yes, you will lose that butt and then be complaining about how hard chairs are to sit on, and how it hurts. It is much better to be complaining about your skinny butt hurting than being too big to fit into stuff. I hope that your time comes soon, and you are able to ditch the seat belt extender!
Judy
Haha, my sister in law complains about her sore butt all the time, and a lot of times she carries her own pillow around to sit on. And I am constantly telling her to be quiet lest I one day decide to beat her over the head with her pillow. But I honestly can't wait until she and I have matching "our butts are too skinny" pillows!!! It won't be long now :D
Haha, Judy is so right! I'm not even skinny yet, and my butt is constantly hurting when I have to sit anywhere too long. LOL.
That is an awesome NSV for sure, Katie, and it will come soon! It's so great to just jump into any seat in any car, not have to worry about seatbelts fitting, or about feeling squashed. One thing I used to hate is when I rented Autoshare cars, I had to be careful because some of them actually bruised my hips because the seatbelt buckle would dig into my hip. No more!
(Although, along with that victory is the realization that cars, like so many other things in our society, are not made to accommodate people of all sizes, and that still bothers me now.)
