For sure, if you are cooking for others I can only imagine how hard it would be to refrain from having a little taste of what the kids are eating! I'm lucky that I am on my own so my kitchen is completely empty of food - I donated a lot of stuff to the food bank and just cleared out the pantry so I can start fresh after surgery. Congrats on being 9 pounds lighter already! That is motivation to keep going :) Good luck!!

Thanks! I was famished by the time lunch time came around so I'm glad we get four shakes a day because I think it's going to be a long afternoon until dinner... Which is also why I am so glad I got rid of all the temptations in the kitchen! It erases any possibility of a cheat, even a little one. I was a bit hesitant to get rid of things like soups and cans of veggies, but most of them had dust on the top and I think I want to start making my own soups and eating fresher food after surgery anyway :) And the food bank was grateful for the donation so it's worth it. When you get to the Opti stage I hope it goes well for you too! :)
