Dry mouth and frozen!

I always used to say to my much thinner Mom, who would bring a sweater with her "just in case" even if she was going to the sun, that I envied her constant coldness. I would always rather be freezing than too hot. But now I think I am regretting saying that! This cold-to-the-bone thing is such an energy drainer! I couldn't wait to get home and get under the duvet today.

There are different over the counter products to help with a dry mouth...most of them glycerin based.

Good luck chickie!

Thanks! I've been told by the nut at TWH to just keep drinking water water water until I feel like I'll burst. But I might pop over to Shopper's and pick up some of that dry mouth solution stuff. I have breath like a water buffalo.

Even simple lemon glycerine mouth swabs would provide relief....see if they have those.

Stock up on sweaters and woolen socks!!!! At almost 6 months out I am ALWAYS freezing, which was wonderful during the summer humidity.....and with fall here, it's nice to be all cozy in layers . As for blah mouth, sugar free gum!
Good luck with surgery!

For sure, during the summer it's great but this time of year you need warmth! It really does take a lot of energy when you're cold - I feel fine today except cold and tired! But maybe it will be worth it to not be a sweaty mess in the summer
Thanks!!

I'm kinda scared as I'm have zero side affects while doing OptiFast!

The first 2 days I noticed things but they very minor.

The last 2 days and going into day 5 today... nothing,  no problems. Not craving food, watching food network no bother.

Opti doesn't bother me, I'm not hungry between shakes either and getting a 4 in without any hassle. Plus drank 48 ounces of water yesterday and 3 cups of black tea and 1 sugar free jello, no broth today because I just wasn't hungry.

No headaches, the trotts/bound up has self sorted itself AND I have lost 8.3 pounds!!

HOWEVER my biggest anxiety is because.......  I bought ketone testing strips yesterday and I'm negative ??? however the brand I bought "Ketostix" says for in vitro urine testing only    Did I buy the right ones?

I would relax. You are doing great and losing weight. That is all that matters.
