Hey Crystal,

Everything your feeling is very normal.  Most of think OMG am I going to be that person that dies.  Well you have to ask yourself if you continue the way you are you may die and not live a long & healthy life.  This surgery was the best thing I have ever done.  I am 2 1/2 months post op, I feel better than I ever did.  I have lost 92 lbs since starting Opti.  I have a tone of energy and already feel like a new person.  Hope this helps :)

Good luck with everything.

Michele.

For me it has been 100% worth it. Is it hard work - yes. Even at 2.5+ years post-op I still struggle some days. Honestly I do not know where I would be today had I not committed to this journey. I went from bed ridden some days to actually running, walking and doing yoga several times a week. An athlete I will never be, but active and healthier - YES.

This journey is yours to decide how to proceed, but for me it was the positive life changing event I needed.

Best of luck,
Kristie
