Yippee! -- Pre-Surgery Class and Surgeon Appointments
Last Wednesday I went for an echocardiogram to check the status of a minor heart murmur that I have. The tech indicated that it is definitely still there, but definitely still minor and that the record of the echo would be sent to Ottawa's WMC later that day. I figured I might need to wait a few weeks to hear from WMC for the next steps.
This morning, I got a phone call from one of the admins at WMC for my pre-surgery class (November 6) and my meeting with the surgeon (November 12). I am beyond excited! Keeping fingers crossed for a possible December surgery date or maybe one for just after our holiday in the sun that is planned for January!
Anyone else going to a pre-surgery class in Ottawa on November 6?

Referral sent Sept 2012 -Info Session -January 7 2013. Surgeon (Dr. Huynh-HRRH) February 5 2013. Dr. Glazer, Nurse, SW and NUT -> March 25 2013, May 1st, Surgeon, Patts-June 6. SURGERY JUNE 26 2013!! 100 lbs gone in 4 months!
