Doing all the homework that we got told to do when we went to orientation on mon nov 25/2013 

reading all food labels

Started my food journal and trying very hard to eat 3 meals a day 

checked to make sure my medication can be in liquid or I can be crushed 

got my measuring cups and measuring spoon and my scales also got my 3 portion plates 

Now just waiting to hear about  appointment dates and then meet the surgeon

so excited



referral Oct 2013,orientation Nov 25 2013, 1st  surgeon Dr Huyan  appt dec 10 2013, had blood work today dietitian Mar 10 8am ,social worker march 10 9 am,Nurse Clinican 10 am

You are already on the right track.  Make sure you also track your water, and activity.  One thing you might want to start to track as well is your measurements.  It will help when the scale lies to you, and you don't think you are doing well.  And take a "before" picture now, and just before Opti, and just before surgery (if you want to) just to watch your progress.

You sound like you're ready to rock this.

Are you guys told you can not take pills? I am little confused since at Guelph I have been taking pill form even in the hospital. Michelle
