My letter for the orientation session arrived today!  I am to go to Toronto Western Hospital.  Does that mean my surgery is there too?  It is going to be long wait until Feb!

Nope

All pre-op visits are done at TWH but surgery could be at TWH, St. Mike's or Toronto east general - depends on the meet the surgeon appt.

all sites seem good, but from my personal experience TWH was incredible -- for me, they seemed to aim for perfection in everything they did -- there was no room for average care there.  And my surgeon was Dr. T. Jackson and I think he is a bit of an angel in disguise.  No ego, no rush.  He treated me like gold and most importantly, my FAMILY like gold.  

I will forever say good things about their Bariatric surgery team.

Call and ask for cancellations! They are always good to move you up if there are spots and that means shaving a few months off here and there means you go faster through the system. Good luck!
