Wow
I still can't believe that I went through this amazing opportunity 6 days ago. I am grateful to have such an amazing surgeon as Dr. Hagen. He was kind, considerate, compassionate and just all around amazing. I had great care on the 5th floor. There were a couple of uncomfortable incidents that I have discussed with them so that they will perhaps think more like a "bigger person" in their protocols and no one else will be embarrassed. Pain was rough immediately post op and I'm still having some discomfort, but not enough to take anything for, cuz then I would do something that I should not.
All in all, I am so glad that I have this second chance to live and I am grateful for this tool. I've spent a ton of time thinking about how I can thank those that guided me along this path, Dr. Hagen, the team at Humber. But I have come to realize that the best way is just to live and incredible healthy, active life!

Assessment: January 18, 2013; Met with surgeon: March 8, 2013; Pre-Op scheduled: June 20,2013; Surgery scheduled: July 17, 2013! Surgery Completed!

I feel the same way, so completely grateful for this gift and a chance to live life.
This tool is a gift and I can't wait to see where it takes us in the future. Truly the best way to thank those that enabled us to receive this gift is living a healthy life and eating mindfully.
Congratulations Robyn, you are well on your way to health, i know for me i already feel a huge difference, i haven't had a headache once since surgery, i used to get two a day at least.
