I am totally shocked

I received my optifast today and was very shocked to see that 3 of the 6 boxes they shipped to me are expired. OMG and these are being shipped from Medicalmart, I can't imagine if I didn't notice they were expired. They expired Aug 31 2016. I start opti on Tuesday and I know I have 2 boxes that are not expired so I can still start on schedule. I will call them on Monday but with my work schedule I won't be able to take the time off for them to pick up the expired boxes and replace them errr this is very inconvenient.

Just wanted to vent thanks

Could you return and exchange them at the retail store? It is in Mississauga. 

I'm sure I probably can but my work hours do not coincide with their hours, they close at 5 pm and taking more time off work so close to my taking leave for the surgery is not convenient for both my Employer and for me financially.     

For the price you payed, insist they courier you replacements at their expense.  Shame on them for trying to shove off expired product onto you.  Don't stand for it!

Expiration dates are not cast in iron.  The food will not be spoiled even if it is months and possibly years past its expiration date.  If you did not notice that they were expired you would not have gotten sick from them and would not have noticed any difference in taste. 

You did notice so now you will want to exchange the product for a fresher date.

I would agree if we weren't talking about a product which just cost me $300.00 and more than half of it is expired.  

On the website they close at 8 pm Monday - Friday. This is the Medical Mart at Heartland. Maybe not the same one?

Oh when I called last evening the recording says Mon - Fri 9 am - 5pm this location is on Cantay Rd

Heartland closes at 8pm I got my optifast today. I was wondering how you were doing with your liquid diet? Did the surgeon says strictly optifast? I'm so excited! Do u have a was if page? I start my liquid diet Oct 4th when u have surgery ;)
