Really depends on the individual I have a pretty high pain tolerance was really bad overnight and first day after surgery, not so great 24 hours after I got home but the big thing is the sipping water and walking to move the gas, my shoulders really hurt which I wasn't expecting. Had Surgery Monday at 2 pm went home at noon next day, haven't taken anything stronger than tylenol since Wednesday.
