Well, Pam, thank you very much. It's not hard to hold court when there is royalty in town... and you know, 'what happens at the Anatole, STAYS at the Anatole or on the OFF board"... Nope. Never strangers. We were showing off saggy boobs five minutes after you got here!! My, my.... I was just saddened to see you go. I did wor****il almost nine. Son I took on the trip came over when I got home... he had made a hasty trip to Target for 3 dz roses..... that's a rose a year, isn't it?.. And a card that was the nicest I've ever read. 2nd son called about 9:30.... I was in bed by ten. Running late for FourBucks. Ended up with $45 worth of SB cards for coffee...... always appreciated.... Had a little party at FourBucks yesterday...balloons, cards, and gifts... That was very nice. Thanks for the well wishes. Yesterday's BD was one of the toughest since my 50th. Cried all the way to work..... most of the way home and some while I was there.... Crap..... here I've worked so hard to get my life back and then hit social security age... number schmumber... it hurts. Have a very nice day today and I hope you get some rest. Janet

Happy B. Day Janet! What I can't figure out is how we got this old, and feel so young. I'm not far behind you, collect the old SS next April. My mother used to tell me in her 80's that only her body got old, her mind did not get any older. So if we can keep our wits about us, we're ok. And your looking good! After PS you may not even qualify to be on this forum. Is there a rule about getting too young? Apparently they don't have it in places like Hollywood CA. Linda W.

Thanks, Linda.... Your mother was right. I dated and was madly in love with a man 15 years older than I . He was the youngest man I've ever dated. Had more energy, more humor, more verve than I did... must have been why he's gone.... That, and the fact he found a size 6..... I have a friend that's 11 years older than I and he's OLD.... when you ask him how he is.....HE TELLS YOU!! You know, constipation topics at Fourbucks so early in the mornings just doesn't start your day the way you had anticipated.... I've not got the date set for the PS yet but I have heard from the dr. Looks like around Thanksgiving. Part of me is excited...the other part is already 'hurting' just thinking about it. We aren't old.... we are seasoned.... I'm getting WELL seasoned..... Janet
