QUESTION FOR EVERYONE

Judy Dear Girl, I think you may have created the biggest stir in a while on this forum, as far as length of thread goes, I just noticed it had to go to two pages.  I think those people in Mich , need to get lives!  I've never heard of anything so silly.  I used to type email for a living, so do tend to try to type in a pretty basic mode, but have never felt like it mattered how someone else typed them.  I belong to an old email list that goes back to the very early days of computers, and in the early days I was intimated by the folks on that list.  I lurked the longest time there of any place I’ve ever visited.  The folks there have everything from Ph.D's to Bachelors degrees even professional writers, etc on that list.  I am a college drop out!  The folks there can even spout things off in other languages besides basic English.  Some even teach English at the University Level, and they would occasionally have discussions about correct sentence structure, Yikes I would really lay low when those subjects came up.  But I have never seen anyone singled out because of their incorrect punctuation, etc. or for that matter typing style.  The joy of the Internet has always been that we can do it the way we choose.  Much as we would do if we were talking to someone on the street or in a store.  I recall the bit about all caps being shouting in Chat rooms, but I haven’t been in a chat room in ages, well except for a couple of visits to ours.  No sweet dear girl, I would probably send them something I huge type, all caps just to irritate them at this point.
