<--- that's me!!!!!
I thought Autumn from the top of the mountain would be awesome too. I really, really tried to be brave. Tom thought I was going to faint on the chair lift. Imagine 320 pound of me walking down the face of the mountain rather than sitting on the lift? Thought I'd DIE either way.
The pictures of the trolley look fabulous - I won't completely refuse until I see it in person though. The good news is that the incline doesn't take very long to go up or down. Everyone is in one car together. I don't particularly care for chair lifts or cable cars either and as I have aged, I get this weird equilibrium thing at heights, but NOT on the incline. PROMISE!!! I can assure you both, that this is worth it, and won't be a problem. If you are an OFF sister, you will always have sisters around to help you through these little hurdles!!!!
Hugs, Lora
PS-The only bummer is that there are no leaves on the trees yet, and everything still looks like that after winter before spring look. But it is amazing that you can see 3 different rivers meet (Ohio River, Allegheny River and the Monongahela River) at the point which is a huge fountain surrounded by Point State Park, plus an amazing skyline of old and new! Plus on a clear day (isn't that a song)....you can see forever....yup, that is a song and a beautiful view!!!!
