i love reading your posts-i feel like we are in the same room enjoying coffee-except today's color is hard on the eyes -specially with the yellow background! you didn't feel well yesterday-something you ate? something with hidden sugars or fats or too much carbs?? i find teh oddest things will make me feel ucky... maybe not enough water???? hugs to you brenda! i want to plan a small gtg soon -you me pat r--eileen??? there are other indiana folk but i think they may be too far south??west?? right now the cost of gas is holding me back....

Hi Margo, I changed the color for you. I hope it works better. My computer has some yellow and some blue backgrounds. I will keep the green in mind for that. Thanks a lot. I am glad that you like reading my posts. I have a tendancy to go on for a while but that is me. You can probably tell that since I am doing it now. lol I would like to plan something too. I understand the price of gas holding you back. I know it is me too. It is outrageous around here and higher in other places. I am not sure just what is going to happen but I am afraid it isn't going to be good. Let me know what you want to do and when and we can work together to get something going. How is that?

Yes, a get-together would be nice, but let's wait a few more weeks because I need to save ... money is extremely tight for several weeks until I catch up on bills. Cost of gas, cost of just about everything holding me back. As I was telling someone else, when I filed bankruptcy and made my budget, gas was $2 a gallon; since then, I've gotten 2-3 cost of living adjustments but have made no adjustments in that budget; all my expenses have doubled or tripled. Now what's wrong with this picture? Of course, if I didn't take vacations, I might be able to manage better, but I did save for that vacation and I really didn't overspend (my brother's scowl stopped me, and the knowledge I had lots of bills waiting for me at home).  I hear ya about the allergies too ... if I wasn't taking four allergy meds, I would be sneezin' and a-coughin' too ... now I'm just dealing with itchy eyes and a slightly drippy nose. No opening windows for me!

i understand your bill situation! we've talked about it and i DO understand! did you see my response to you yesterday about michael's workers comp that we didn't get? we will definately plan something in the future but i'm hoping maybe may or june?

Yeah that will be better ... June will be better. I did see your response about the workers comp. Don't want to get into specifics about my mess; maybe I'll call you.

Good morning all. I havent been posting here much, been hanging out at the grads board some but not doing much of that either. Looking for some answers to this loooong stall Im having. I woke up to the bed shaking this morning about 5;45..we had an earth tremor! 5.6 on the scale they said! I thought Mike was playing around, but he was in the living room , having gotten ready for work. He ran outside, thought someone had hit the house,,but no, it was a real earth tremor. What a way to start the day, they said a bigger one hit Illinois, about 150 miles from us. We worked in the yard yesterday, and its starting to look so pretty, We put out the patio swing,,yay!!..and the umbrella table. Ready for summer!! Today, Im cleaning and sorting and throwing away stuff in the spare bedroom, then I think Im gonna paint it. We shall see. Be Blessed Betsy

Oh My an earthquack in the Midwest!!!!! I remember living in Benton Harbor when I was a kid and there was one. Everyone was scared!!!!! Including me I was little then and I hid in the Bathtub!!!!! Number 1 mystery box is going to the post office in a minute when I leave for work. It is passover tomorrow and the food for this week leaves much to be desired. I cant eat to much Matza as it cloggs me up so I wont eat that. Ill just stay on what I usuallyeat. I am driving down to Ft Lauderdale to see my Cousin and my friend who is moving down there from Colorado in July. They are comming for the weekend to look for a house. Ill see her on Sunday for a while. Not much else going on here today but working 12 to 8. Carla. 

Good morning everyone, I am sitting here waiting for my DH to get home.  He had a meeting this morning and then he has to head out to Lafayette, La.  He is visiting equipment sites and meeting with contractors.  I haven;t been to Lafayette for awhile so I am going with him.  I wasn't sure I would be able to go since I was rear-ended a couple of Sundays ago and I am back in therapy.  Just when I was really feeling good and able to get around about as much as I want to this happens.  Now I have pain in my neck and mid back and a ferocious headache.   I did purchase a cold pack from my therapist and it helps.  We will be meeting old friends for dinner this evening and another couple for lunch tomorrow.  Nothing beats South Louisiana food.  I hope everyone has a great week-end.
