Can't choose
that's me always sittin on the fence!
Not much new here anyway.
Ethan's pre-birthday party was a huge success if you call 15 sreaming, running 4 - 5 year olds a success! Everybody was happy! My mom decided she's go to the party after all. My youngest sister shamed her into going. I wasn't getting into it. Either you go or you don't go - just don't expect me to bend over backwards to take you to see your great grandchild in the future. My sister R told mom she should be ashamed of herself wanting to go shopping instead of grabbing the opportunity to see Ethan since she's always complaining she doesn't get to see him often enough.
George hurt his back a little over two weeks ago. He is in so much pain. I'm taking up the slack around the house - not complaining. He's done it often enough when I was laid up after surgeries or with back, hip, or knee pains. I'm glad I can do more now. I just wish he'd go to the doctor to see about it. I'm sure it's only a pulled muscle, but I can't help remembering the story of his dad. He complained for several weeks about his shoulder hurting. By the time he finally went to the doctor, they discovered lung cancer and it was too late. George was 8 y/o when his dad died.
There's trouble brewing here at work. Seems my boss went off the deep end at a conference Friday and started yelling at several of the other doctors. Don't have many details yet, but I think the doctors who were on the receiving end of the tirade are going to register a complaint with the Dept. Head. Gee, they got a dose of what I go through all the time! I really doubt the Dept. Head will do anything as they are "old buddies". We'll see!
Guess I had a lot to say after all!

I cant choose either...yes, its me..ag=fter three very full and hectoc weeks, im back again. I really hate that Im not consistant but there are days Im so busy then exhausted, that I cant seem to articulate anything intelligently onlinel...lol.
Well, it's official..Ive left Kent & Company...had enough of the inconsistancies of the owner and the inability to get him to move forward in his business as to quality service and reliabiliaty...heaven knows Ive tried.
But InfoDIVA is flourishing...people seem to LOVE my concept of celebrating ethical business that operates with the virtues of my H.I.T.T. List- honour, integrity, trust and truth. I may not make alot of money but it FEELS right!
I just got homr last night from a 3 day working conference for my Business & Professional Womens Advocacy Group...we lobby the governments for social & economic bettermet for women worldwide...the 3 days were filled with debate, resolutions, legal language, parliamentary procedure and just plain hard work. I returned home physoclaly and emotionally drained but filled with sucha sense of empowerment.
I am chairing the Annual District Meeting in October and will make it extra special with a tour of the Canadian Marine's Naval Ship that tours the Great Lakes, a luncheon, and a workshop led by me, with mentoring, teaching, facts and fun.
I was so tired from conference, that i slept a full 14 hours and didnt get up til 1 pm this afternoon. My lumphatic legs throb too since the hotel has marble floors and that is hard on my legs especially since I had to stand alot at the microphones. But it was all worth the discomfort.
Eating was made easy..and dofficult..because all meals except the bamquet, were bug]fftets..adding tempations...sadly, no yogurt but i managed to wat reasonaly well...okay..I did snitch a small serving of teramisu...my bad!
Today, it's the five day pouch regieme as long as I can handle that...and now, back to work with InfoDIVA!

Thank you, Annette! It was an awesome conference though...uplifting and empowering for sure.. it just FEELS good to know we are doing things to help others.
But today Im still working on my business, InfoDIVA, building my database while JB is still up on the roof, replacing shingles.
Ive already got the salad made for dinner, salisbury steaks cooking, sweet potatoes cooked and fresh cut asparagus ready to steam. So now I can take some time to relax outside on my new verandah. *s*
