What's new Tuesday? Really, I did it??
We never touch people so lightly we do not leave a trace.

Brrr - a chilly good morning. I had plans to go grab a cup of coffee, then start the thead. Turned on the coffeemaker, started the microwave and the fridge turned on too - bam - blew the circuit breaker. When that happens the switch only moves a teensy bit and it is hard to tell which one has blown. Tom FINALLY marked the one for the kitchen and the water pump so it was an easy fix for a change.
I had a scarey experience yesterday. Got home from work around 1ish and decided to do a few chores before having lunch. Suddenly a wave of cold washed over me, I got shakey, weak and felt disoriented. It was almost as if a panic attack was beginning yet different. I grabbed an Ativan, then knew I should eat something. By then my coordination was off, I had trouble walking and wasn't sure I could get to the fridge. Damned phone was out or I would have called 911. Our cell phones don't work in the house, have to hang over one spot on the deck. It was baaad.
Made it to the kitchen, grabebd a hunk of cold meat loaf and sat on the floor to eat. We are not supposed to eat and drink but I had some water too.
After that I turned on the electric blanket and slept for 2 1/2 hours.
I have no idea what happened but I woke up feeling human again but remained super cold all day.
Tom discovered the phone problem - the line was unplugged in his office. The exact spot that Annie likes to play.

I'm sending you hugs and hoping that you don't do such a silly thing like chores before eating again! Glad you're feeling better.
I have noticed in the last 2 months, that when I am on the go (which for me is often), I have to consciously remember to eat something or I get that shakey, weak and sometimes a cold sweaty feeling, just as you described, I think because I usually am good about my water intake I have not had the disorientation, but that comes from a very large dip in your sugars as well as dehyrdration. So please, stay well and remember, we are not like everyone else, though we feel wonderful as a result of our surgery and newfound energies, we must remember to fuel up.
Hugs and love, Laureen
