New to Board

Thank you all for the warm welcome. All the tests are done and now all I have to do is the preop liquid diet and colon cleanseBeen there and done that as I have already had 3 colonoscopies! No surprises there I'll be here most everyday but now I may post instead of just reading.

I hope you do post often....this is such a warm and wonderful site to be on.....I usually check in several times a day....somethings always happening....you won't find a nicer group of friends than OFF. I just have one warning.......it can be addictive....LOL. Hugs, Marti

Hi, Vickie...  GOOD  LUCK on the 24th... and minimal anxiety on the days just before WLS! 
Since health is your goal, the surgery is the way to go.  I've recently started coming to the >50 MB and think that the term "OFF" fits me in soooo many ways.  Welcome!

You already know what wonderful people we have in teh Over Fifty Forum.  My only suggestion is that perhaps you bookmark your posting, so that you can find us again easily.  Sometimes, I cannot find my way back to the group messageboard, and I don't know why.  I am so glad you are choosing to make the next 50 years go more easily than they would have without WLS... at least that is what I see all around me and hope for!
