New man friend likes me "as is"

I will admit I have not read everyone's replies.  I just read the first few, and if my comment makes some people upset, well, so be it.

I think you should be honest with him.  If you looked to this (the dating) as a possible advancement in your life, then you owe it to him to be honest.  As a man, that is what I expect from a woman.  I know they expect it from me.  What does everyone think, she should wait a year, and then say, "Oh by the way, I did not lose all the weight by good eating.  Just good eating after WLS."

I wanted to tell him but was just not sure how to do it. I believe in being up front and honest. He has plenty of pics of me and I told him how much I weighed (at the time he asked mind you .... ). He thinks I am beautiful the way I am. I did finally ask him how he felt about me losing weight and if he would still like me. He said he would ... so problem solved hopefully. I see no reason to go into details unless he asks. He didn't seem to want to know anything more so we went on to other subjects. . I don't know if this will lead to anything further but we are in "serious like" and will be meeting in Mobile, Alabama August 7 th. We may end up madly in love or just friends ... only time will tell.

Also, he should feel honored that he has some precious "Before" pictures, and maybe he will be taking the "After" pictures.

I'll dish a little. We met ... we liked ... we kanoodled.

Seriously ... I just got back from meeting him. We had to adjust dates since he had plans for today. He is out on a tuna fishing charter right now (they are going 55 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico) with his son and some friends.

We liked each A LOT ... A LOT We both think it is I have to wait to hear from him after he is done playing with his tuna.

He looks better than his pics. He is very sweet & affectionate. I love his southern accent. I took him some fabulous OHIO produce (butter & sugar sweet corn, cucumbers, tomatoes). I took him these HUGE sandwich slice tomatoes and I made him tomato sandwiches just to show him I could cook . He loves tomatoes. I wanted to give him something I knew he would like. I also took him a bunch of my green tomatoes so he can make his southern fried green tomatoes that he loves. I also took him a baggie full of my cherry tomatoes.

Other than short it was pretty sweet. We laughed and talked and kanoodled around. I did a little sightseeing while he was at work. It is nice there.

Only time will tell? I am no spring chicken anymore and I have met some other men that are interested in me. So, if he doesn't want to pursue a relationship ... I am going to start dating other men too.

BTW ... I am down to 210 now!!! 11 pounds to ONDERLAND

Wow on the 210!!!!   You're doing Great!!!     Ditch the 11 Lbs and  in the street!!!

The tomato treats that you picked sound YUM!!!!   Sounds like all went well for you.  The distance might a pain, but then again you have a lot of options now.  Getting to know the other guys is a big plus too because you'll stay focused on being # 1 in your life!

Kanoodling was very good heeehee. He really is a nice man (nice looking too). His Mother is very ill (stroke) so he is spending a lot of time with her. BUT we already discussed visiting each other and possible relocation (me).

The drive took 12-13 hours each way and I was zipping along (ole' lead foot here). I will have to save up to fly down next time. It is too exhausting to drive that far non-stop.

Hopefully things will be more stabilized with his Mom soon so we can spend more time together. I know what he is going through since my Mom was very ill for months before she passed away. He is an only child and his Father is deceased so she is all he has (and vice versa). I like that he is a good loving & son.

I feel great! I will be ing for sure when I see that 199!!!!!!!! I have to get my exercise bike put together Man what lousy instructions ...
