Update
Hi all! Just wanted to let you know how it is progressing for me. Although I did not come out as a non-diabetic, I am much improved! Pills are cut in half and NO insulin!!!!! I think in time I may be able to go off all the meds. I feel stronger every day and I have been able to get my 60 grams of protein in but I still have to work on the water. So far have walked for 40 minutes today and I think I have enough energy to do the other 20! I go on Thursday to get my drain removed and all the staples out of the little incisions
LOL!
Have a great day all! Thanks for the support and the prayers.

Congratulations on your surgery. Keep on keeping on and I bet the diabetes will get a lot better. I still consider myself a diabetic but one that has it under control with diet and exersize. My wls doctor told me that I would be off insulin within 9 months. I got off it 1 week before surgery and I have not had anything for the diabetes since. I am eternally grateful for the changes in my life. Good luck on your journey and great things are in store for you. Vickie.

for getting in 60 grams of protein already. You are off to a real good start!!!
