I am amongst the living! I hope you guys have a great Tuesday part one. I am touched by the PMs and a call from my sweet Annette. I bought some butt glue (Imodium) and started some antibiotics and am feeling a bit better. Due to attendance I am not going to get my bonus this quarter..so 2000 bucks down the drain, I am trying to come to terms with that. I am 8 hours away from getting my FMLA back....what a sense of humor the cosmos has!
I am going to drink today, and I am going to try to eat a cheese stick, maybe a few crackers.
Take care,everyone.

Hugs, hugs and more hugs Linda. I hope you start to feel better soon.

I made some spicey cabbage with red pepper, stewed tomatoes, onions and peppers - hot enough to make the ears melt. That will go good with some chicken tonight.

Since WLS I crave hot, spicey and veggies. I have to concentrate and eat protein FIRST, even when the veggies are so tempting.

Be well my Sister!

Hiya sis! I made it through the day. I have eaten so little you would yell at me if I told,so I won't.
I have a fear, plus loss of appetite, I have a yogurt sitting right beside me that I will try to eat.
Boy oh boy, that cabbage sounds yummy...smile.
Hugs and love!

Hi Linda, you certainly need a break! I hope you feel better very soon.
Worked Sat and spent all day Sun in Madison preparing for contract negotiations. Looks like I'll be off work for negotiating the days that I get most of my hours. I'm hoping I can have my surgery before that so I can negotiate while recovering. After all, it's mostly sitting and listening. While I was in Madison I stopped at the Vitamin Shoppe to check out their calcium. Found some chewables but would go through them fast. I should just use up my upcal D I bought this spring. I was very disappointed reading that the label was misleading. It was so easy just to put it in my water everyday. Good news tho, a Vitamin Shoppe is going up in my town but a year from now. Better late than never. It'll give GNC some competition.
Well the week has passed that my surgeon's office was going to get my info together to send to insurance for approval. Now just wait....
I have no idea yet what I'm going to eat today yet but I better decide fast cuz I have to be on the road in little more than an hour.
Have a great day everyone!

Alice, you have a lot going on. Did you call your doctor's office to make sure your papers were submitted? It just pays to be sure. You do want to make sure you have the right calcium for after WLS,but I am sure you know that.
I hope your day went well..smile.

Hiya Miss underweight...hehehe.
It is a shame we have to work, we all deserve to be ladies of leisure!
I am sorry your bread came out nasty, yet it is a brave attempt!
Have you ever tried the Ezkeil bread? It is dense, so one slice will do you, and it made with sprouts and such, really low in carbs and calories, it does make a nice piece of toast though. I do not eat it alot so my 1st loaf I bought is in my freezer, when you just gotta have a piece of toast, it does the trick, I like to toast mine, then put a slice of cheese on it,it is tasty.
I know, this whole week of work is a drag, and I am considering either cutting down to 4 days,or finding another job as mine's is very stressful. The poorer America gets, the harder my job, then another Black Monday..oh my!!
Kudos and hugs to you dear lady.

Very glad you've feeling better.  Had to laugh at the "butt glue".  That's what I needed Sat. while running errands.  Made a mad dash home and arrived just in time - very close to having an accident.  I think my problem was a protein shake made with 2% milk.  Stores here are still in short supply of most fre****ems, milk being one of many.  No FF milk, had to settle for 2%.  Yuk, it's thick as pea soup!

B - protein shake
S - apple w/ peanut butter or cheese
L - baked fish with garlic mash taters
S - yogurt
D - rabbit sauce piquant and green beans
S - cottage cheese

Hiya Angel. I bet that milk was slimy and heavy!! Have you thought about using powdered milk for your shakes? I often do this as I have a lot of spoiled milk other wise.
Your menu makes me want to come eat with you.
I will share in the morning how my decending into 5 days of H3LL started.
I hope you are having a nice evening with your George.
Hugs!

Linda, my milk of choice is FF organic milk.  Once opened, it lasts at least two weeks before starting to turn sour.  Life is simpler since GIII moved out.  He drank whole milk or 2%, George drinks only soy milk, and mine is FF.  Come to think of it, life is not really any better now as George discovered chocolate soy, and I came to love Hoods low fat, NSA chocolate (which I buy occasionally) - makes for great iced coffee!  So, no rather than have 3 half gallons of different milks in the frig, we sometimes have 4.
