Just Waiting!!!

Hello OFF (I call it Over Fifty Friends):
I am waiting for the phone to ring and the wonderful Nurse Judy telling me my surgery date.
I have to make one more trip to Bismarck (3 1/2 hrs away) to visit with the Nut. and to have pre-op work done. That day will be filled with all those things that have to be done. Then the next trip will be the SURGERY!! I am like everyone else, nervous and excited at the same time. I have been practicing eating slowly and chew, chew, chew my food and have been sipping my water and other beverages. Man, that takes a long time to do. I made room on a few shelves in my pantry for all of my protein powders, SF and LF foods, etc. Hey, Like, I AM READY!!!

Thank you Linda. I just love this forum and I know I will get alot of information and support from all of you out there that have already gone through the surgery and are living proof that it works!!
This waiting is hard but I know the best things in life are worth waiting for..............

I appreciate your good words, Millie. I just want to get on with it. I need to be at the hospital at 9:30 in the morning and the surgery is scheduled for 11:30. I will get back home on Tuesday.
I will be back on line when i can after that.
