Hey Barb,
Have you ever eaten polenta?  If so that's 'northern' grits.  Where polenta is yellow, grits are white - both are made from ground corn.  Take it from an old southern girl...they hit the spot ...lol

Never had polenta either Donna.  Can you make that with cheese also?

You sure can....(can't you just hear my southern accent when I say that...lol)  You might want to try a google search on the words - palenta cheese recipes.
