Hello my fellow Americans. I was MIA,yesterday I attended TWO parent teacher meetings with Olivia, how lucky to be scheduled off and be able to do that. I frankly think any man who makes a baby and walks away,do to divorce or any reason, should be blindfolded and shot with a firing squad!! Here,I am a conduit at times, just making the start of a conversation, so we can all share our food,if we want to, it keeps me honest, and you guys do great talking among yourselves,it is 3:41 AM here, and I must shower and get ready. I spent 2 hours couching my oldest grand on his spelling, tonight,it will be math. I know God has me here for a reason,my daughter can NOT do this alone.
B-2 Cheese sticks L- Cottage Cheese and Peaches D- Beef Burrito wrapped in a low carb wheat tortilla. S- Apple..mmmm.
Please have a great day,and know that you guys are my reinforcements, and I carry you in my heart through the day!

All I can say to that is thank God I have George and he's been a great husband and dad.  I'm sure I could have done it alone if I had too, but it was so much easier with his help.  Linda, you are definitely the backbone of your family.

B - cheese stick
S - protein shake
L - black beans and sausage
S - protein shake
D - beef parmesan and veggie
S - yogurt or cottage cheese and fruit

Hello sweet Angel. The saying that it takes a village to raise a child,I find to be true. Our village is small. Next year,Olivia plans to move to PA. I have no control over this, but she has a good, supportive friend, and I pray a lot.
I am happy I grew up with a mom and dad in place,it was not always easy, but I was blessed to have them.
My chariot awaits, have a great day!

Linda,
A firing squad would let them off too easily. I believe it would be best to torture and keep them alive.

You are a wonderful Mom + Grandma.

Time to face it, I have a transfer addiction - I am addicted to cottage cheese and Kashi. Not a bad addiction.

B - I've had TWO of them today. Because the damned cats got me up in the middle of the night, around 2:30 AM I was hungry. Ate breakfast then and again at 9:00am. My entire day is out of whack, but it's okay. Oh yeah, almost forgot - it was cottage cheese, blueberries and Kashi - both times. No guilt either.

L - ham, cheese, salad greens
D - good question. I'm back to work and haven't gotten into planning mode yet.
S - apple and peanut butter

Kisses
Annette

PS - we have lots of SNOW predicted for today and tomorrow.

Good morning to you Linda! I pray the day has gone well for you.

I so agree with you on the it takes a village. It is true. There is so many single parent families out there and my niece is one. She depends a lot on her mom and I. I help her any chance I get to and would go to the ends of the earth for her and her daughter. Autumn is the daughter that I couldn't have here on earth. Your family is very fortunate to have you and I also think that you are a very unique person and one that is full of love and unconditional love. You are truly the person that God wants you to be.

Food is kind of up in the air.

B: sf maple and brown sugar oatmeal and banana
L: left over chicken fajita meat and cheese
D: not sure probably fish and veggies
S: not sure of this either

I hope that you have a wonderful day today. I am sending you love and hugs and plenty of special prayers going up for you and yours.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good morning everyone!

Well it's later in the morning but I have had a low fat, sugar free yogurt, 3 turkey breakfast sausages and some melon for a snack.

I'm still on a small dosage of glimperide for my diabetes and some days I eat so few carbs, I'm concerned about getting a low but then my surgeon told me the numbers to watch out for that if i'm under a certain number in the morning and the evening I can probably quit the med altogether.  I'm just trying to balance it all right now and I'll see him again in 2 weeks.

Linda.....you are a rock!!! Bless your heart...you are a wonderful mother and grandmother. I too will keep sending prayers for your family!
I know all about single families. My daughter Carrie is all alone in St. Paul raising 3 of her own. Her life isn't easy. She works two jobs and is still in the proccess of losing her house. Part of me feels like I should move there. But really what else could I do?? I am torn!!

B-Boost (after fasting labs)
L-ham and cheese,  peas
D-salmon and vegetable medley
S......not sure

My thoughts , prayers and love are with you....Boo...to you.
