I was a single Mom for about 11 years. I wish I had had a MOm and Grandma for my kids like you!


B.  1/2 cp.cottage cheese and 1/4 banana slices

S.  protein shake and 1/2 cup cranberry juice.

L.  Shoney's kid's meal grilled cheese (ate 1/2 and boxed 1/2 for a later breakfast or lunch) , and 1/2 cup potato soup

S.  protein shake and 1/2 cup cranberry juice  

D.  2oz baked fish, 1/2 cup sweet potato, and 1/4 cup eggplant (steamed)

S.  herbal tea.

I feel for you, Linda.  I also raised children by myself.  Had a step-mom who baby sat for a while and potty trained both of them however.

Back on the diet track today and back to work, successfully ignoring the pastries, breads and halloween candy.  I'm drinking my approved liquids and even walked on the treadmill here today.

D 1/2 cup refried beans

Oh Sweet LInda!    I'm back!!!!!!! Yeah for me...lol.   Lots of little problems for the past week or so whi*****luded switching my cable, voip, and internet over to the new City of Wilson services called Greenlight nc.com.  I've waited 3 years for this project to come to fruition.  I am the test house in my area (Sub 7 Area 3 to be exact)  My grandson will be so happy.  He was pretty downhearted this past weekend 'cause Andma didn't have internet serviice.  Oh the poor poor child...he had to spend time reading a book and working on the book report with his old and feeble grandma.....lol 

I'm missed everyone so much while I've been away here in cybersapce.  And you Linda are just a saint! 

My kids were 10, 10. and 11 when I got divorced from their dad.  After that he wasn't around much.  He would drive past our house on the way to see his girlfriend who lived 20 more miles down the road but just didn't ever seem to be able to use his breaks to slow down to turn into his kid's driveway.   Go Figure.  Of course, he was "paying me to raise those kids" as he put it.  What I got in child support was NOT equilvalent to a second income.  I do have to say that he got his in the end.  It's similar to the "Cat's in the cradle and the silver moon" song.  None of them went ot see him last Christmas because his scrawny psycho second wife (I was the sane fat first wife) has driven them all away.    { sniff sniff } He has seen our newest grandson once and that was at the hospital.

S - 1/4 cup splenda peaches
L - 1/2  cottage cheese

S- bowl of Kashi in milk
