What's New Thursday?
Yeah, I wish I could still do plasma ... one of my coworkers does it; she only works part-time, plus she is a massage therapist part-time, plus she is a student ... so she is doing as much as she can to make ends meet. I just wish I could find another easy way like plasma to make money, but haven't stumbled upon that magic bullet yet.

it seems like everyones job ishaving problems these days. We are waiting to hear who our new manager is.
i am finally going to go to the Dr this morning. i am feeling better but still tell her what went on the other day. Maybe she has some insight.
it is freakin cold here in Florida. About 50 this morning and i am so cold. i had to put on another comforter on the bed.
think ill wear wool pants today.
not much else going on.
Going to pay the American Express bill from Frankenmuth on the 1st. ouch

I can so relate to everyone's money woes! I accidently slept in this morning. Angus is usally awake and wanting outside by 0530, well today we all slept until 0630- the time I generally LEAVE for work and I had forgottent to set the alarm last night so......It's supposed to be a bit warmer this afternoon and I badly need to do some work outside to get ready for winter. Tomorrow is Halloween and I don't have any candy for treats yet. I get a lot of kids at this house (which I enjoy!) so it's fun to dole it out. Not much else going on today, just work at work if I get to it (LOL) and then work at home if I decide to do it! Guess I should get busy doing what I get paid to do!

Then some of the smokers will actually have to be on their job instead of out side smoking. It will be better for them in the long run. Healthwise.The other news was that they are going to start random searches. Like our cars, our lockers, our bags. I don't mind this but it will be a little time comsuming. They did tell us why. Apparently someone has been stealing. They said, this year alone at least $50,000 dollars worth of things have been stolen.
We have outside contractors that come in to do certain jobs and they will be under the same rules that we are. I can't for the life of me figure what would be so expensive. I guess it adds up. They do have alot of computers in the building and alot of tools and various parts that could add up. We were allowed to take the used plastic bags that capsules came in (great for garbage bags) but not anymore they are gonna start recycling them. Makes sense, cuts cost. I just feel like that we should be present when they go into our lockers. Who's to say that the (rent-a-cops)security guards are on the up and up.
You never know. Well, enough of that.I got to get myself in gear and go grocery shopping. I hate that. I've also got to go to Wal-Mart to see if I can find me some cheap long sleeve shirts. I'm freezing.
I don't have as much insulation on my body as I did last year.

eileen i know what you mean about being short of money!!! with rick missing 2 days last week i am sure we will be doing without to make ends meet for the december rent!!!! verizon called us last night to let us know they will be shutting the phones off if payment isn't made....we made OUR payments its his mom that isn't making hers!!!! rick wants to pay hers so we can keep the phones on...i told him it will happen over and over again if he does that and we should let them shut them off and get our own phones in our name...oh yeah we got into it yet again over his mom and her money woes!!!!! he keeps helping her and he just doesn't get it....sighs.
its another cold morning here in willoughby but going to get warmer they said...can't wait for that to happen!!!! i hate this bone chilling cold!!! not sure what i will do when winter really gets here!!!!
erie is still working on my pc...said he had everything taken out of it and just needs to bring it back this weekend and see if it will hook up online!!! i sure hope it works!!! said it will be like new again...
my sister IM'd me yesterday while i was online....i did talk with her but didn't give her any info on anything!!! she wants me to call her some night after 9 pm to talk...yeah right....like i am going to call her!! no way will i do that!! still hurt over what she did to me with my emails to her that she sent to lori!!!!
have today off and am on a mission to find me a new coat for winter!! one i brought with me is waaaaay to big for me now. i do have my fake leather one but i want one for everyday to wear. maybe kmart will have something? walmart sure didn't. tired of waiting for one to come in at work....its cold out there now and can't wait much longer for it to come in IF it comes in!!!
gas in my area is down to 2.19 and some places that is a short drive is 1.97!!! wooohoooo!!! many are worried that the price will go sky high after the election is over with...hard telling. but prices are better now and i can actually fill my tank and not feel so guilty about spending the money!!!
making beef broccoli for supper tonight...another one of ricks favorites to eat. i used to like it with chicken but getting to like beef now...actually ate some spaghetti the other night and didn't get sick on it!!! just can't eat alot ot one time tho so maybe there is hope for me yet with eating pasta again! yippeeee
watching alot of the scary movies that are on tv right now...wished christine would have been on earlier last night instead of jason and jeepers creepers....oh well...

What size do you wear? I have a coat that is an XL ... it's pretty warm, I got it off eBay a few years ago and it doesn't quite fit me, it doesn't zip up well on me (over my belly). Maybe it will fit you. If you will pay for the postage, I will ship it out to you. Let me know. It's a dark green corduroy.

George, I know what you mean, we're having baseball withdrawal too. We did attend a Zephyr's sponsored World Series party last Thursday evening at Z's field. They did this last year too. Free food, and they try to get you to commit to buying your tickets. We don't get a discount for buying this far in advance, so we wait until Dec. and make our first payment.
Hoping everything went well with Janet's surgery. I'll continue to try to catch up with the posts and hopefully see an update.
EDIT: Oops, I thought I saw Janet's post as having been posted Tues. I'm a ditz! Guess she's in surgery NOW!
Hectic here at work, bouncing between two offices it time consuming and a bit tiresome. I'll get used to it! Monday I had an emergency dermatologist visit. Friday I started a new, stronger script for restless leg syndrome. Sat. afternoon my neck itched like something had bitten me. George looked and said it looked like a bug bite. By the time we got home, the entire back of my neck was red, itchy, and swollen - the rash was moving up into my scalp, and around to my face. I tried Benadryl, and an anti-itch cream with very little relief. Doc says its a reaction to the new med and being in the sun. A $50.00 script that I use twice a day has it almost cleared up.
Back to reading a few more posts before I get busy again.

Janet went into surgery 7:30 am Dallas time (if all went as planned). Surgery was to take anywhere from 5-7 hours. Mike will call me as soon as she's out and awake, and he may post as well. I'll post as soon as I hear and can get to a computer.
Since I'll be there to pick up the snail mail (which she never does), any cards that are sent will be delivered promptly to her door. Not that I even have to suggest anyone send cards, 'cause I know they'll be pouring in. I know that I'm not the only one who loves that fiesty redhead.
