I hate to hear you are having those kinds of problems in your area. I know there are hateful people out there but goodness, directed at children on Halloween?? Or anytime for that matter.... Horrible.
You were asking a while back about Daylight Saving Time and I wanted to ask if you saw the information about it on the Yahoo home page today. If not, take a look. It will answer your questions about why Arizona and Hawaii don't participate. I guess Indiana started it in 2006.
