The drugs have kicked in so I'm on the computer.  Candy is at the table playing Farkle with Mike.  She's learning so we can play when I  can sit with the help of good drugs.

Getting in and out of bed hurts.... I can't turn over without help or it burns like heck...then I know I need GOOD drugs again.

I think I'm still going to have some muffin-top.  He didn't pull it that tight... and told me he wouldn't be.  I've only got on surgical line...all bikini line.  Girls, I'm 64, he apparently wanted me not to have to heal with so many incisions.  At least that's what he said.

I still have the ONQ pump.  It will probably be empty Wednesday when I go for my appointment.  Got my shower this morning with Candy's help... boy, it's swell to smell good.

I'm rambling. Thanks for all your well-wishes and prayers.  I'm going to get back in the chair..... Hopefully, I can get Candy out on the patio in 83 degrees to read her book.

See, I knew if I waited long enough to post Janet would beat me to it.  She's doing fine, pain is controlled with minimal drugs, and I'm finding it tough to get her to rest.  No surprise there, right?

It's 83 degrees, and I'm ready to head for the patio and a good book.

 Hello Janet,
I am so relieved to see you up and at the computer. Yay for drugs.

Take care and follow orders. Did you take before and after pictures?

Much love

Oh dear Janet, glad all is well and you are home.  I've been MIA for a few days so was worried as to how you were doing!
Glad to see nurse Candy is there and you are doing as well as you can be!  Once you hit $4 you'll know you are on the road to recovery!

Glad to hear you are on the way to success. Good for you! I am 65 and waiting for a date.
So I was very interested to hear how you made out.
I bet it hurts and I would use all the drugs offered also if it helped me get through the tough times.
candy seems to be a life saver for you, Nice to have a gal like her in your court!
I am in Ontario Canada and I am jealous of your good warm weather. We are chilly but no snow yet.
I will be watching for you. Lola

Oh, now I'm inspired!! You are home, and joking around so that gives me great hope. I will happily take whatever drugs they give me when it's my turn...that's what they are for.

The getting in and out of bed worries me. I have a HIGH bed, so that actually I just sort of sit and lie down without bending. Maybe it will be OK. I'm not having the all the way around like you did, either, nor any muscle repair. I'm trying to convince myself that my surgery will be easier than yours and I won't HURT too much.

Just thinking about them taking so much skin and fat makes me know that you must hurt........your body is trying to figure out what happened!! It might scream a little until it settled into the new svelte you.

Glad you have your sidekick..........enjoy your time together. I think the worst is past. I'm very very happy for you. You are going to look gorgeous! You did before........so now you are going to knock 'em out
!

Drugs for pain are wonderful!  Just be careful that you don't overdo because the drugs give you the feeling that you are better than you are.  Hope your recovery continues to progress as well as it has so far and can't wait for the healing and swelling to go down so we can hear how you are feeling about the end results!

Best wishes for your healing to continue without incidence, Laureen

So glad you are doing so well, Janet. Ain't the pain pump, wonderful? Wish they would have sent me home with one after my knee replacement. Man, I could use one now, actually.

Maybe they could give you an IV drip of Starbucks ... would that help?

Get well ... rest up and heal up because I'm sure someone will organize a GTG sometime in the spring.
